Background / History

Qian Renxue is the only daughter of the previous Spirit Hall Pope and the inheritor of the Angel Clan’s Six-winged Angel Martial Soul. Although Spirit Hall publicly declared her dead after her father’s fall, she survived and accepted the Usurpation Plan amid her increasingly fractured relationship with her mother, Bibi Dong. 292

Using an Angel Skull’s concealment ability, she replaced or assumed the identity of Heaven Dou’s eldest prince, Xue Qinghe. She maintained the Crown Prince’s gentle, refined persona for more than a decade while directing the empire toward collapse from within. 134 135 292

As Xue Qinghe, Qian Renxue embedded herself in Heaven Dou’s royal family, cultivated Xue Ye’s trust, and waited for the empire’s internal decline to create an opening. She regarded the weakening of the imperial family and its alliances as an opportunity to seize the state. 211 255

She ultimately launched a Spirit Hall-backed coup, had old-guard nobles massacred, revealed her identity to Xue Ye, and ended his life. Heaven Dou City then fell effectively under Spirit Hall control. 292
