Shen Hanyu slowly made his way deeper along the mountain range. His immense Mental Power swept across the surroundings, but aside from the raging wind and snow, there seemed to be no sign of life.
Tian Meng comforted him:
"Don't rush, Hanyu. This place isn't small. As long as we have enough time, we'll find them sooner or later."
Shen Hanyu chuckled softly as he flew swiftly through the low sky, speaking with a hint of helplessness:
"Do I look like those people to you? I'm not short on time. If I wanted to, I could stay in this damn place for a whole year. Besides, there isn't anything here that can threaten me."
Tian Meng said nothing. As the Far North's number one shut-in, he had never truly entered this place either. They continued deeper for nearly five hours.
Tian Meng suddenly cried out, and Shen Hanyu almost simultaneously sensed that something was wrong. His figure vanished from the open sky in an instant, appearing atop a rocky slope in the middle of a snowy mountain.
The clouds overhead seemed to be drawn by something, slowly gathering together as though something was about to arrive.
The next moment, the cloud layer was abruptly torn apart. A massive icy-blue figure spread its enormous wings and slowly descended.
It was an Ice Dragon, roughly eighteen meters long. With its wings spread, it nearly blotted out the sky. Its magnificent body was covered in diamond-like ice crystals, and beneath its huge, sharp dragon claws was a massive Soul Beast still dripping with fresh blood.
