On the afternoon after the exam, Ryan didn't head home. Instead, he went back to team practice. He felt bad enough about having skipped so many practices, but there was also a personal branding campaign his PR manager, Paula, had arranged for him.

During a break, Ryan returned to the bleachers to look over the photos.

Ryan called Elizabeth right then, but she hung up on him almost immediately.

Ryan texted her with instructions for tonight's work: editing, a short written introduction, and formatting and publishing the post.

[I might have other plans tonight.]
