Scott's office was crowded with Ryan, Taylor, and Scooter. Also present was Taylor's album producer, Nathan Chapman.

Ryan's demo of "Wake Me Up" was playing through the speakers.

Thanks to Joel, Ryan had managed to get his hands on a Roland JP-8000 from 1996 in excellent condition. The synthesizer looked like an electronic keyboard covered in buttons, and its "supersaw" tone sounded astonishingly close to the one in Ryan's mind. He sampled it into FL Studio, then tweaked it with a sound effect plugin until he finally got the sound he wanted.

The brief, one-minute demo ended. Ryan had contributed the vocals himself, along with the melody. He looked around nervously, and even Scooter, who knew nothing about music, was stunned.

Taylor listened with her brows knitted, looking almost dazed.

Ryan had actually managed to blend country music and pop? Not only had he done it, but the two styles fit together perfectly, as if they had always been meant to go together.

Taylor even shivered.

Taylor's producer, Nathan Chapman, had his mouth hanging open. He could only think that Ryan's work was out of this world.

As a producer and arranger, Nathan's musical expertise far surpassed Taylor's. Honestly, he felt he could spend his whole life trying and never make anything like this.

How had Ryan even thought of this? Had he learned from Daft Punk themselves?

Or was he actually a member of Daft Punk? Had he worn a helmet before and now just changed his disguise?

Nathan even started sizing Ryan up, comparing his build to the two helmeted members of Daft Punk he remembered.

"Ryan, you're amazing!" Taylor was the first to snap out of it. Right in front of everyone, she rushed over and hugged Ryan.
