Well... sorry about this. In the afternoon, my editor asked if I wanted to put the book up for sale on the first, and I had a momentary lapse in judgment and said yes.

Then I just realized that it's already the thirty-first... Once tonight is over, it'll be the first.

I haven't prepared anything. I thought I'd have all of tomorrow to get ready.

But it's too late to change things now, so I'll just have to rush it out. I'd also like to apologize to all of you.

I'll do my best to write as much as I can tonight.

Back to the book.

The last book really hit me hard. I realized I'd started second-guessing myself... In short, I'd become afraid to write. I felt like no genre would work, and I kept doubting myself. I opened Writer Assistant and wrote four or five beginnings, but they all seemed awful.

Then, after about a week, I decided I couldn't go on like that, and this book came to be.

I know full well that comic-related stories are pretty niche. And on top of that, this isn't about drawing comics—it's a transformation story... The debuffs are practically stacked to the ceiling.

Writing in this genre really wasn't a good choice.

But if I kept putting it off... I figured I'd eventually lose the courage to even try.

So in the end, I wrote an opening, gave it a name with plenty of obvious flaws, and put it out there.

This book... is sort of my way of making amends for the two transformation stories I wrote before.

I plan to treat it as my last transformation story, write what I'm interested in, and try to include some things I never dared to write in the previous two
