Lux and Eno spent three full days recuperating in Kalamanda.

(Lux had protested Karya's teasing vehemently and strictly forbade him from telling anyone she got seasick.)

Aside from resting and getting over her seasickness completely, Karya used the time to work out a detailed plan for their next steps with Lux.

Once they had finished recuperating, they would leave Kalamanda and head for Piltover.

After arriving in Piltover, they would sell some of their supplies, then take their capital into the city's lower districts and eventually reach Zaun.

Zaun was the ultimate destination of their journey.

"Why Zaun?" Eno asked in confusion when he heard they were going there. "I've heard the sailors on the ship talk about that place. They said it's awful... We could stay in Kalamanda instead. There are lots and lots of farms in the northern suburbs. Even if we want to study magic, we can stay here and establish our own farm!"

"Honestly, if I could, I'd love to stay in Kalamanda too." Karya sighed. "But if Lux wants to stage a triumphant return within six years, she can't afford to spend her time farming in Kalamanda."

"I understand why we can't stay in Kalamanda, but why Zaun?" Lux asked, curious now too. "I remember you saying that Piltover and Zaun are very special places. Their founding and rise were mainly due to trade between Valoran and the Shuriman Continent..."

"That's exactly why Zaun and Piltover are the easiest places in all of Runeterra to influence." Karya nodded. "Most people don't know that Zaun used to be called Vauzaun, and was an important port city in Shurima. I left quite a few good things there!"

"Oh? Good things?" Lux perked up at once. "Like what?"

"Just some insignificant seeds." Karya spoke in a breezy tone.
