Finn had prepared plenty of small talk to help smooth things over when he opened his office door, intending to show Lux around.

When it came to flattering Piltover residents, Finn was a real professional.

But the scene that greeted him as he opened the door left every word he'd prepared stuck in his throat.

In the hallway, all his thugs had been frozen in place.

Spreading ice crystals covered their bodies, their skin red from the cold. The poor bastards seemed to be struggling, but aside from their eyes, they couldn't move a thing.

"They tried to ask me who you are," Eno explained to Lux without expression, his tone so calm it sent a chill down the spine. "They were too noisy, so I made them calm down."

Seeing his thugs standing like ice sculptures and hearing Eno's emotionless account, Finn felt as if someone had doused him with ice water. He quickly came to his senses. He didn't dwell on the matter, instead looking at Lux pleadingly.

When Lux nodded, Eno finally dispelled his spell. The thugs were granted a reprieve and leaned against the walls, all of them shaking like leaves. It was hard to tell whether they were cold or terrified.

Finn swallowed every last pleasantry and probing question. He simply showed Lux around his Alchemy Factory and introduced her to the production lines.

Lux watched the roaring machines and numb workers without expression. As Finn's ceaseless bragging filled her ears, boasting about how low his prices were, she thought of the proud Piltover residents she'd met during the ten days she'd spent investigating the city.

After the tour, Finn once again emphasized that his prices were the lowest, then escorted Lux out of the factory with the utmost respect.

His men had greeted her
