Regarding Jarvan IV's ascension to Emperor and Demacia's promotion to an Empire, within the entirety of Demacia, the nobility clearly exhibited a "warm south, cold north" attitude.

Of course, this objective description is somewhat inconsistent with the mindset of most Demacian nobles. Perhaps we should rephrase: a minority of nobles whose fiefs were in the northern territories seemed surprisingly unconcerned about this matter!
