Although it was not as famous as the Fearless Vanguard or the Winged Legion, the Garrison Legion was also one of Demacia's frontline legions. Most of its members came from the collateral branches of Demacian Noble families in Demacia City and its surroundings.

These warriors had received a professional military education for nobles since childhood. They were skilled with bow and horse and well versed in all kinds of military skills. It was also a small backdoor the nobles had left themselves—the Garrison Legion Elites had always led the charge as Demacia's vanguard, making it easier for them to distinguish themselves in battle.

In that last wave of attacks, the Vanguard Army warriors of the Garrison Legion had fully demonstrated their mastery of military skills. The Sword Formation and Shield Formation Cavalry each fulfilled their roles and worked together with precision, making them the very model of professional soldiers.

Yet, faced with the Sword Formation Cavalry riding back and forth while loosing arrows, and the Shield Formation Cavalry arrayed like a wall, the Plains Walkers held their formation and stood as immovable as a mountain.

Even as a deluge of projectiles hurtled toward them, the Plains Walkers on the front line remained composed, their hearts like thunder and their faces as placid as a lake. When the drums began to beat, they even raised their shields almost instinctively and started pressing forward in time with the rhythm, as if they could not see the walls of shields moving toward them. They advanced to meet the Vanguard Army's Wall Charge.

The next moment, the Plains Walkers and the Vanguard Army finally collided.

Amid the neighing of horses and the clanging of armor, the Shield Formation Cavalry charged into the Plains Walkers' curved line.
