As Northern Trade gradually became the norm, the intelligence unit traveling with the caravans had pushed eastward from the Freljord Peninsula, entering the Lakstak Plains and covering vast stretches of western Freljord and the peninsula.

Though they were only gathering intelligence and compiling travel accounts, and had only passed through a few villages and settlements, Freljord was no longer a complete blank to Freljord's people back in Freljord.

Of course, that didn't mean they knew much... Their work was focused on the south, after all. To Lux, Freljord was an important trading partner—and a hidden enemy she needed to watch carefully.

The intelligence unit's main purpose was simply to prepare for the worst.

Now, with Yin Wa's return and the news she brought from Lakstak City, Lux—who had been overseeing economic affairs in Demacia City and preparing to refine the civil service organization and assign its next tasks—had no choice but to set out at once for Freljord.

Yin Nuo had also received the news and was speeding up her march south to take over the city. She had to end the war as soon as possible, then gather her troops and reorganize, so the Northern Wanderers who had traveled so far could rest.

Because if the intelligence was accurate, Demacia would have to focus most of its efforts on the north for at least the next year.
