Nami and the Merfolk Marine Corps had never seen a battle on this scale.

Compared to the desperate struggle between Renekton and Nasus, their earlier fight with the Vastaya had been child's play. Renekton had joined in back then, but he had never revealed his Ascended form.

Seeing the Vastaya trampled by the two towering behemoths, Nami and the Merfolk Marine Corps didn't dare approach the battle recklessly.

As the combatants moved farther and farther away, Nami thought for a moment, then decided to see if she could save the writhing Vastaya.

Not long ago, these Vastaya had been their enemies. But no matter what, they had once been warriors among the merfolk, handpicked to resolve their people's plight. They seemed to have fallen into corruption, but if possible, Nami and the other merfolk still hoped they could regain their senses.

Now they were all gravely wounded and unable to fight back. To Nami, this was the perfect chance to restrain them and search for a way to restore them. But first, they had to survive.

After being trampled by Nasus and Renekton, they wouldn't last long without treatment. They might perish before Nami could find a way to save them.

So Nami and the Spellcasters among the Merfolk Marine Corps began calling on the power of the Water Element, trying to soothe and heal the unfortunate Vastaya.

Though they were underground, they weren't far from the coast, so the Water Element was fairly active. Clear springs soon gushed from Nami's staff, washing away the Vastaya's filthy blood and visibly improving their condition.
