Lux's impression of Anivia came mainly from the many legends of Freljord.
In those ancient legends, Anivia was the embodiment of Freljordian wisdom, a sage who saw all and understood all.
However, after her experiences with Karya, Lux had developed her own way of interpreting myths and legends. They might record some vague history belonging to the collective memory, but these stories often strayed from the truth in various ways in pursuit of a good tale.
On top of that, Lux wasn't from Freljord. She had always listened to these myths and legends as stories, so when she met Anivia, she was nowhere near as excited as Ashe.
In fact, at first, she was quite wary.
It wasn't until Anivia summoned a Polar Storm and temporarily sealed Huo Lin that Lux believed she probably wasn't the one who had summoned these Void monsters.
Lux didn't reach that conclusion because Anivia had sealed Huo Lin right in front of her. It was because ice could still seal it. Just imagine: if Anivia had summoned Huo Lin, then given these monsters' nature, they should have become completely immune to frost by now.
So when Anivia's curious gaze settled on her, Lux decided to tell her a little about the Void.
Well, she'd just talk about the Battle of Icathia.
There was no need to recount the whole explanation. Lux simply started with the Battle of Icathia, mentioning the Void's arrival and how Monolith Fortress had been built to seal the rift in the earth. She skipped over what Monolith Fortress was, how Advanced Elemental Laws could be used to create elements that the Void struggled to corrupt, and all the rest.
Ashe, who had hurried back and was standing nearby, tried to interrupt several times, but never got the chance.
