Compared to Noxus, Avarosa's defeat had cost far fewer lives. This was due not only to Ashe's swift retreat once she realized things were going badly, but also to Lissandra's decision not to pursue her. Instead, Lissandra had calmly returned to Freljord City, as if Ashe were beneath her notice.

And so, as the news spread, the Avarosa Warriors' morale visibly recovered. With Ashe's encouragement, they finally set out for Freljord City again after a period of rest, moving in tandem with the Northern Expeditionary Army.
