The Extreme Ice Rift was undoubtedly a difficult region for the allied forces to cross.

They didn't know that even among the Frostguard Tribe, there weren't many who could operate near the Extreme Ice Rift. The harsh terrain treated both sides equally. Unbeknownst to them, many Frostguard Tribe members attempting to circle around and attack from the rear had also fallen into the bottomless glacial chasms, dying in agony.
After the army paid a heavy price to finally cross the Extreme Ice Rift, they didn't even have time to rest. They charged straight toward the Howling Abyss.
