So, what had Karya gone to Shurima for?
Nothing particularly important. He was mainly taking care of the good things he had previously kept safe in his small world. When that world was destroyed, they had spilled out along with the sand.
He couldn't just pile them up in front of Frostguard Citadel. That would get in the way, and they might easily be lost, so Karya had to make sure they were handled carefully.
Many of these things could now be considered "artifacts" of Shurima. To Karya, they were simply mementos of his past and little things he often used. But to a Shurima being reborn, they might be important ancient artifacts.
So, now that the situation around Frostguard Citadel had stabilized, Karya simply sorted and packed up the items from his small world. He sent the ones that belonged in Shurima there.
So, what little things was Karya about to send to Shurima?
There weren't many—mainly the Regent's crown and seal, formal clothes, some souvenirs from Shurima University, and a few badges that Karya particularly liked.
To Karya, these objects from his past no longer meant very much. Now that his small world had been destroyed, there was little point in keeping them.
And giving them to Azir might help him rebuild Shurima, so Karya simply packed them all up, took them along, and rode an Elemental Dragon to Shurima.
Of course, the good things in Karya's small world weren't limited to these.
Aside from the items he planned to give Azir, he kept some things that still seemed useful: the original template for the Dragon Contract, a few Nullstone tablets, the results of his previous research into the Rakkor Serpent's bloodline, and samples of a new, high-grade Pure Element.
