After flying all night, just as Isdoro and the house-elf Buck were about to freeze into popsicles in the frigid night sky, morning finally came. After a whole night of flying, the two flying apostles at last landed.
However, they didn't take the two of them straight to Falconia. Instead, they brought them to a hidden cave near the northern border of Falconia, still at least a day's flight away from the city.
As for why it was so well hidden, that was a matter of perspective.

Inside that terrifying cave, occupied by at least several hundred war demons, Isdoro and Buck soon came face-to-face with the Lion-Tauren apostle. He was the one the Witch Sonya of the New Band of the Hawk called the "Black Lion," one of the strongest apostles, and the "undying warrior" of the mercenaries. He was always appearing on battlefields, seeking the thrill of slaughter. Though he looked human, he was actually a giant winged Tauren and the leader of the war demons: Zodd.
He was a terrifying fellow, with two symmetrical scars on his forehead and tusks in his mouth. Even in human form, he stood over two meters tall. Just looking at him made Isdoro's legs tremble uncontrollably, and he couldn't muster the slightest thought of resisting.
As for the house-elf Buck, that was even worse!
The instant the little guy saw Zodd, he jumped in fright, then promptly hid between Isdoro's legs and refused to come out, no matter what.

Zodd didn't pay much attention to the two insignificant little creatures who'd actually had the nerve to return and report back. He merely stared intently at the letter in his hand, which had clearly come from another of his mortal enemies, his brows knitted tightly.
