A few days passed in the blink of an eye.

No one knew what had become of the dark, deep, damp, and decaying abandoned deck FC-N-01 over the past few days. In any case, as the leader of the resistance, all Allie could do was fight beyond her limits and struggle to protect their base, while doing her best to evacuate as many people as possible—especially the noncombatants—from a place that was growing ever more unfamiliar and terrifying.

Both she and the increasingly dwindling resistance fighters under her command knew that their base probably wouldn't hold out much longer.

So, before that final moment came, they had to evacuate everyone as quickly as possible!

Unfortunately, most of the resistance members—including the elderly, women, and children—had no identities. Some were even members of a new generation born right there on the abandoned deck of FC-N-01, with no records at all aboard the Vengeful Spirit. Even with the help of officers in the Imperial Army whom they had infiltrated or turned, how could they just evacuate so many people at a moment's notice?

After several days of struggling, they had managed to evacuate fewer than five hundred people. With no way to arrange anything for the rest, Allie had no choice but to make her way back to the Vengeful Spirit's command deck. Wearing an Imperial officer's uniform, she finally saw Loken again.

If it had been anyone else, Loken certainly wouldn't have wasted his time. After all, he was a member of the Four Kings Council and had plenty of official business to handle. Why would he waste time on some nobody?

But he seemed to have an unusual amount of patience and tolerance for Allie, the resistance leader. He smiled and gestured for her to sit, then looked her over
