The battle went very smoothly. Not long after twenty fully armed and reasonably experienced Ork players landed, charged in with a roar of "WAAAGH!", and opened fire while shouting for blood, the entire town was easily taken in under half an hour.
It was more or less as the intelligence had indicated. There were indeed only three to five hundred Chaos cultists, natives, and miscellaneous monsters such as Chaos Spawn in the town, while the number of Demon Hounds and demons was fewer than five. The players therefore cleaned them up quickly.
After that, there was nothing more to say. The captain of the player squad contacted his guild and submitted the mission. With that done, everyone began moving freely, making a final sweep of the town, clearing it out, and sorting, packing, and hauling away anything valuable.
Though those supplies were not worth much, and the spoils belonged to the guild anyway, even a mosquito was still meat. So, in most cases, as long as it was permitted, players still had to scavenge.

[Book Friend 20220729075419477]: [What the hell are you talking about? Stop wasting my time! Blow it up, and if there's nothing useful, torch it!]
[Book Friend 20220729075419477]: [Hurry up!]
[Phil_Phil]: [But... I can't quite bring myself to do it!]
[Book Friend 20220729075419477]: [Newbies sure have a lot of crap to say! Who's over there right now? Scamming Invincible, you guys are there too? Fine, then you do it! Hurry up!]
[Scamming Invincible]: [I... I'm not doing it!]
