As the hubbub and clamor in the Great Hall of Hogwarts Castle gradually died down, and once a certain "White Devil" stopped meddling in other people's business and settled down to watch the film, about an hour passed. By the time the students and teachers present were growing impatient, Uther's Silver Hand Paladins—including the last two Champions, Hermione Granger and Harry Potter—finally rode up to the outskirts of the magnificent city of Lordaeron, Stratholme. There, they successfully rendezvoused with an army that had already set up camp and with Prince Arthas, whom they had not seen for many days.

Arthas paid no attention to Jaina rushing over to welcome the little witch Hermione. He knew how much the young wizards had sacrificed and contributed to Lordaeron, but his mind was troubled by other things, so he left them alone and turned to the old Paladin who had dismounted and was walking toward him, his face cold.
After the battle at Hearthglen, Uther had rescued Arthas and repelled the Undead attack. He then led his infantry and Jaina along a shortcut to Stratholme, where they had been waiting outside the city for several days.

For some reason, though, Arthas seemed to be in a strange mood. His expression was icy, and even his words were barbed, as if he were deeply unhappy that Uther and the others had arrived late. Of course, there might have been some other reason, but everyone present—including the Silver Hand commanders—could hear it in his tone:
