"What?"

The Titan Giant Ape also began transmitting his voice to his elder brother.

The Sky Azure Bull Python looked at the hope in his younger brother's eyes. After pondering for a moment, he rose from the sofa and led his brother to a quiet secret chamber.

Though it was called a secret chamber, it was not cramped like an ordinary one. The moment the door opened, they saw a several-meter-tall statue. Its surface was smooth, its expression solemn. If anyone from Shrek Academy saw it, they would immediately recognize it as Tang San, the God of the Sea whom they had worshipped for ten thousand years.

Beside the statue stood a sandalwood table that gave off a faint fragrance. A bundle of incense sticks rested atop it, and the scent of incense mingling with the sandalwood's subtle aroma was somewhat strange.

The Sky Azure Bull Python and the Titan Giant Ape each familiarly took an incense stick and lit it with Soul Power. Wisps of blue smoke slowly rose from the incense, blurring their faces.

The two bowed slightly toward the statue. The Sky Azure Bull Python spoke respectfully.

"Third Brother, we don't know why we were unable to contact you earlier. Could you tell us brothers the reason?"

The secret chamber was utterly silent. The statue showed no reaction.

"Third Brother? Third Brother?"

The Sky Azure Bull Python kept asking, but the statue still gave no response.

Beside him, the Titan Giant Ape's eyes darted around, his thoughts written plainly across his face.

The Sky Azure Bull Python did not continue asking and shot the Titan Giant Ape a look.

The brotherly bond forged over countless years let the Titan Giant Ape immediately understand what his elder brother meant. He obediently followed behind him and walked out.

The Titan Giant Ape slammed the secret chamber door shut. The statue remained quietly in the darkness, still silent.

"It seems the connection between Douluo Continent and the God Realm has truly been severed."

The Sky Azure Bull Python let out a deep breath, and the weight in his heart finally lifted.

At last, they no longer had to live under Tang San's constant surveillance. Though they did not know when he might inspect the Clear Sky Sect, neither of them had dared relax for ten thousand years, afraid they might accidentally say something Tang San would hear.

As for danger without Tang San's protection, neither of them was worried.

They had originally possessed the cultivation of Divine Officials, barely counting as god-level combatants. With Douluo Continent's laws sealing their power, they were still among the strongest Limit Douluo. If the two brothers joined forces, fewer than four or five Limit Douluo would never be able to stop them from leaving.
