The chapter ended with Zhang Lexuan announcing that Shrek had lost, as Huo Yuhao and the students learned the victory they had celebrated was an illusion.

• Mu En returned to Shrek with the surviving Soul Masters and saw that Zhang Lexuan had lost an arm and Shrek’s inner courtyard forces had been wiped out.
