The Demonic Beast cat leaped onto Li Mo's shoulder, looked at Ye Wen, then spoke in an imperious, overbearing voice.
"Brother Cat, get him! Go slap him to death! Look how miserably he chased me. I almost didn't get to see you again."
Li Mo whispered into the Cat Demon's ear.
Ye Wen had gone from utterly shocked at first to completely composed now. That King Beast Cat Demon's aura last time was nothing like something this little cat could imitate.
That look in its eyes, the way it regarded everyone below the seventh grade after reaching the seventh grade—it was as if they were mere ants. They wouldn't even deign to attack anyone below the seventh grade, because a single strike would kill them instantly.

But the plants had to be tough enough to restrain their enemy.
So Ye Wen waited. The instant the Cat Demon pounced, he easily broke free of the plants wrapped around him.
Then, in a flash, he caught the Cat Demon as it flew toward him.
The scene looked just like a housecat happily leaping into its owner's arms when he came home.
And yet such a ridiculous sight was happening to a Sixth Grade Cat Demon. It was utterly unbelievable.
Ye Wen looked at the Cat Demon in his hand. It was now attacking him with its claws and fangs, fighting with all the primitive force it could muster.

At last, it gave up and stopped struggling. Ye Wen held it by the scruff of its neck.
It stared at Li Mo with boundless resentment, cursing him nonstop in its heart.
You little bastard, you're throwing a cat under the cart! What a way to screw me over. Where did you get such a powerful enemy? I can't even fight back against him!
Ye Wen held the Cat Demon up and examined it closely.
Its fur was as black as ink, except for the fur on its four paws, which was pure white. Its blue eyes darted around shiftily. Then it bared its teeth at Ye Wen.
"Brat, let me go, or I'll roar and summon countless Demonic Beasts. They'll tear you to pieces!"

The Cat Demon trembled with fear.
"I'm the only surviving member of the Snow-Treading Plum Blossom Cat Demon Clan. If you do that, you'll wipe out our entire clan!"
Just then, as it happened, a great many Demonic Beasts arrived from all around. Li Mo was still shouting smugly.
"Brat, you were so cocky before. Scared now? At Brother Cat's command, they'll tear you—"
Li Mo hadn't finished speaking when the arriving Demonic Beasts saw the Cat Demon being held in the man's hand, completely unable to fight back.
