Li Mo followed Ye Wen, sneaking in the direction Great Lion had pointed them.
Both of them were extremely cautious along the way. After all, their opponent was a Seventh Grade King Beast.
The two slowly neared the cave entrance. It was a natural cavern with excellent ventilation.
A gust of wind blew out from inside, chilling them to the bone and carrying a faint smell of blood.
The two exchanged startled glances, but given the situation, they had to go in and take a look.
So they crept inside again. Fortunately, King Beasts had their own authority and usually forbade other Demonic Beasts from approaching their territory.
That made things easier for Ye Wen and the others. They had made it this far without being discovered. They really were pretty lucky.
Suddenly, they heard Demonic Beasts talking up ahead. Ye Wen's heart tightened. It looked like they had reached their destination.
The two were even more nervous now. Since Ye Wen hadn't cultivated any ordinary techniques, he didn't have any circulating energy or aura leaking out.
Li Mo, however, was cultivating some unknown technique with the ability to conceal his aura. The first time Ye Wen had met him, he'd been fooled by Li Mo's concealment.
Now Li Mo quietly activated his technique again, and he became just like an ordinary person, not a trace of his cultivation aura escaping.
Ye Wen couldn't help but marvel. "That's impressive, my Mo Ge!"
Following the voices, the two slowly crept forward. Sure enough, in a wider cavern farther in, they saw the Black Emperor.
The Black Emperor had been beaten terribly. His tiny body was covered in scabs of dried blood and wounds, and his fur was no longer smooth.
The Pixiu was standing in front of him, apparently saying something.
