Body Becomes Myriad Things, Myriad Things Merge, One Person is Heaven and Earth, Heaven and Earth is One Person

A golden sword shot skyward, meeting Heaven's Decree head-on.

Xiang Yuan used his flesh, nearly that of an Emperor of Heaven Dao Body, as the sword's body; his small world as its edge; and his own will as its sword intent. The three fused into an ultimate strike.

It pointed straight at the heavens, tearing through wind and clouds, piercing layer upon layer of barriers formed by the laws, and colliding head-on with the fist seal of the Emperor of Heaven's Dharma Aspect.

At the same time, two more figures leaped forth, one following on either side.

One figure swept across the sea of clouds like the wind. Her white robes were whiter than snow, a point of golden light gleaming between her brows, her cool gaze carrying compassion.

Guanyin Bodhisattva!

She arrived upon a lotus, a golden Buddhist wheel emerging behind her. It illuminated all laws and purified karma.

The other figure was like a star returning to its proper orbit. As his robes fluttered, traces of the Heavenly Dao's path faintly appeared, and wherever he stepped, resonating laws formed golden stairs.

Ji Wuzhou!

In the present-day Dry Abyss Realm, only Xiang Yuan and Ji Wuzhou—the two fellows hopelessly entangled with the Emperor of Heaven—were qualified to confront Heaven's Decree.

One had far too many fortuitous encounters clinging to him; the other had simply been born well.

As for the rest, whether Bai Wuyan or Sword Venerable Su Ran, the No Calamity Sword could sever heaven and cut off the Dao, while the Reverse Calamity Sword could reduce all laws to emptiness. Powerful as they were, because they were cultivators of the Dry Abyss Realm, they could only be shareholders. Facing Heaven's Decree was not much of a problem; driving it back was a vastly greater one.
