"You should go too, Brother Dali. I want to be alone..."
After leaving Yao Yuling's house and heading downstairs, Cai Xiaonian pinched his voice and got right in Niu Dali's face, shaking his head as he launched a point-blank attack. His expression was exaggerated, and his tone was dripping with sarcasm.
"Get lost, get lost, get lost. I'll fuck you up." Niu Dali glared with his bull eyes and unhappily shoved the skinny Cai Xiaonian aside.
"Look at you, can't even take a joke."
Cai Xiaonian turned to Wang Xin. "You too, Wang Xin. If you'd been a little more thoughtful back then and given that White Rabbit candy of yours to this old dumb ox, maybe Yao Yuling would've had a sweet mouth and an even sweeter heart, and gotten together with Old Niu."
Niu Dali nodded repeatedly. "Now that sounds like human language."
"And then wouldn't Old Niu do whatever you told him to? Right?"
"Right. For a favor as great as a spring, I'd risk my life to repay it. I just like Yao'er." Niu Dali let out a helpless sigh. "What a waste. Such a good opportunity. Daxin, you really didn't do right by me."
"Get lost, get lost, get lost." Wang Xin waved him off in disgust. "Things were urgent then. How was I supposed to think that much?"
"No. No, no, no." Cai Xiaonian stared straight at Wang Xin. "Don't tell me you've got your eye on Yao Yuling too?"
"Daxin, you can't do that. A friend's wife is off-limits."
"Is she your wife?" Wang Xin's face scrunched up with disgust. "Never mind whether I like Yao Yuling or not—it depends on who she likes. Even if I do like her, what's the use if she doesn't like me?"
"Then you do like her!"
