The restaurant was extremely noisy at mealtime.
Wang Yan and Li Nana sat at the window table in the farthest corner. Four dishes were spread across the table, and the two of them ate heartily.
"The food's good, right?" Seeing how much Wang Yan enjoyed it, Li Nana seemed rather pleased. "This place hasn't joined Know Me, either. It built itself up entirely on its reputation."
"It really is good. Generous portions, reasonable prices, tasty food, and the staff are polite and easy to deal with." Wang Yan nodded with a smile, giving it a positive review.
Know Me wasn't that overbearing, and this restaurant was confident enough in itself.
Know Me's purpose was to break through geographical limits, putting stores in front of more people so that people from elsewhere would learn about the restaurant and come spend money there, thus expanding its customer base.
But this restaurant was already doing excellent business within a kilometer of the area. Some customers also came after hearing recommendations from others. It was already immensely popular and didn't lack business, so there was nothing wrong with refusing to join Know Me.
Relatively speaking, though, there weren't many restaurants like this one. Otherwise, how would Wang Yan have managed to straighten out all those uncooperative shop owners before?
Building up a solid customer base purely through word of mouth was no easy task. Especially for a restaurant like this one—surrounded by Know Me partner stores and still holding firm—it was incredibly difficult.
But since this restaurant had held on, it naturally gained the corresponding benefits. After all, when the other restaurants were packed and people saw that this place was equally full, they might notice later that it wasn't on Know Me and decide to give it a try when they had time.
