"Look, look! Xi Cheng's chasing Wang Yan with a knife!"
Tang Wanru stared at her phone and shouted at the top of her lungs.
"What? What happened?" Lin Xiao leaned over curiously and watched the video with Tang Wanru.
"Has Xi Cheng lost his mind? He actually dared to go after Wang Yan with a knife in broad daylight? And his movements are so clumsy. Look at him, he's so awkward. Not only did he fail to hit Wang Yan, he even hurt himself. Look at all that blood on the ground." Lin Xiao even offered her commentary.
Tang Wanru said solemnly, "Wang Yan ran so fast. There's no way Xi Cheng could catch him. I think Wang Yan was deliberately screwing with him. Xi Cheng was practically killed by him."
"Clearly, Xi Cheng failed to slash Wang Yan and Wang Yan seized the opportunity. Wanru, don't be so ridiculous. No matter how capable Wang Yan is, he's still human. The surveillance footage is out—when he saw Xi Cheng pull out a knife, he turned and ran immediately."
Seeing Gu Li, who had been spacing out nearby, look over, Tang Wanru exclaimed, "Oh, whatever. Neither of those two is any good. It's just dogs biting dogs."
Lin Xiao looked at Tang Wanru, then at Gu Li beside her, and walked over with her phone in hand. "Gu Li, you should watch it too."
On the phone, Xi Cheng chased Wang Yan with a knife, only to be subdued by Wang Yan afterward. There was a great deal of blood, and in the end Xi Cheng was loaded into an ambulance while Wang Yan was put into a police car.
Gu Li should have been happy.
Though this scene was not entirely her doing, she had played a part in it.
