"Big brother, we're here. It's right over there." Skinny Monkey pointed toward a dozen or so teenagers who were either squatting or standing around with cigarettes in their mouths.
It was a small shop nearby, and one of their hangouts.

With that, Wang Yan walked over.
The group noticed them too. One of them lifted his chin and said, "Brother Lei, Skinny Monkey and the others are back."
Brother Lei was over there, smoking and bragging to the shopkeeper.
Hearing that, he turned to look at the three approaching.
Wang Yan was a stranger to him, which left him a little puzzled, but he didn't think much of it. He assumed the other two had brought him along to introduce him.

"Brother Lei, he..." The skinny boy didn't dare say anything. He simply pointed at Wang Yan beside him.
Seeing the way the skinny boy was acting, Brother Lei understood that they'd run into trouble. He walked up to Wang Yan. "You look unfamiliar, man. Where do you hang out?"
There were certainly idiots who'd throw themselves into a fight without a word, but Brother Lei clearly wasn't one of them. If Wang Yan had dared to show up alone, he must have something backing him. Making enemies without knowing who you were dealing with wasn't a matter of courage; it was a matter of having rocks for brains.
