Several days had passed since Wang Yan made the newspaper's front page. Lin Dingding had wanted to get in touch with Hao Shuwen and Xiao Suizi all along, and she finally managed to reach them today. The moment they met, she noticed that something was off about the two of them.
Seeing Hao Shuwen hesitate, apparently unsure how to begin, Xiao Suizi knew she was being considerate of her and answered with a smile. "You only think I look better because we haven't seen each other in a few days. But Hao Shuwen really does have something to celebrate. She's getting married—of course she's happy."
"Getting married? So suddenly? To who?"
Lin Dingding's heart clenched. The first person she thought of was already clear, but she still clung to a shred of hope and fired off three questions in a row.
