Bai Fu didn't rush to kill the Truth Society's Chairman. She still had several quests to turn in, and while she was at it, she wanted to see if she could get more gold out of him.
She folded her arms and watched the increasingly feeble Chairman of the Truth Society with cold eyes.
"How do you feel now?"
The Chairman of the Truth Society remained expressionless. "Why not kill me right away? Do you want to mock me as the victor gloating over the defeated?"
Bai Fu smiled. "I'm not that bored. To be honest, even though you posted several assassination bounties on the Dark Web and sent plenty of people after me, I can't say I hate you all that much. I wouldn't have grown so quickly without you. Like the Boss of the Wildfire Gang, you were a guide to me on Zu Yuan Star."
The Chairman of the Truth Society was stunned for a long while. He hadn't expected Bai Fu to say something like that.
It was unexpected, and left him at a loss.

It sounded like calling someone a stepping stone, but without the hostility that usually came with it.
He closed his eyes, and his tense expression relaxed a little. "Since you want to talk, I'll talk with you. There's something I've always wondered about. How did you find the Marsk Laboratory? If its location hadn't been exposed, my mutant plan might have gone much further."
"Do you really want to know?" Bai Fu asked.
The Chairman of the Truth Society didn't reply, but his eyes said enough.
Bai Fu explained, "I met someone. Like you, he should have been one of this era's leading figures. He was trying to trace the Obsidian Shard that
