Although plenty of players had recently been going wild in the community, saying things like "Fu Fu, take me with you," not many of them genuinely expected Bai Fu to suddenly return.
Even the players from the Champagne Faction, who were famous for their optimism, had posted analyses in the community arguing the same thing.
The reason was simple.
[Fu Fu said she needed an advanced spaceship capable of withstanding the impact of distorted space to return safely to Zu Yuan Star. A ship like that costs a fortune. Even with Fu Fu's incredible earning power, it would still take her a year or two, right?]
[Besides, if you were writing the story, would you bring Fu Fu back early, or have her return right between Version 1.5 and Version 2.0, where she could guide us into the star sea?]
The analysis was well-reasoned, and it won widespread approval as soon as it was posted. It even got a like from Digging Princess.
Digging Princess was a renowned Bai Fu expert. If even she agreed with the analysis, what could anyone else say?
The players on Zu Yuan Star could only work on the main quest to rebuild their home planet and, in their spare time, watch Digging Princess and the others stream to satisfy their Bai Fu Addiction.
All in all, most Fu Sect players in Version 1.3 were pretty laid-back.
There was no helping it. No matter how much excitement Bai Fu stirred up, only a handful of players like Digging Princess had witnessed it firsthand. For most players, she was far too distant. What else could they do but take it easy?
As the players settled into a more relaxed pace, interest in Bai Fu began to wane, too.
