Sesia was a very unfamiliar name to most people at Crystal Company.
It wasn't an especially rare name, but none of Crystal Company's major clients had that name.
So when Sesia appeared at Crystal Company's front desk wearing a figure-hugging little dress, a wide-brimmed black lace hat, and black lace gloves, her outfit quite reminiscent of the Rebirth Empire, and claimed to be Crystal Company's most important client, the receptionist was completely bewildered.
Who?
"Miss, we..."
Sesia reached out and lightly brushed her fingers across the receptionist's cheek.
"You don't need to have any doubts. Just tell your company's board that I'm here."
A chill spread rapidly from her fingertips. The receptionist shivered, and in that instant, she felt as if her mind had become foggy and dazed. Only one thought remained—
Sesia is the best! I have to do whatever she says!
So she stepped forward, pressed the call button at the front desk, and reported Sesia's arrival.
A few minutes later.
In the Crystal Company boardroom, everyone held their breath, tensely watching the woman seated at the head of the table with her legs crossed.
The woman's face was unfamiliar to them, but faces didn't matter. One of the Night Mother's greatest talents was her ability to change her appearance at will, thanks to her precise control over life and flesh.
After a long while, Crystal Company's chairman, Smore, cautiously asked, "What instructions does the chief steward have for us this time?"
The Mita had done a great deal behind the scenes to help Crystal Company grow into one of the most famous security companies in the Sea Lion Galaxy. Smore would never dare defy its will.
