Dmitry was dumbfounded.
For a moment, he suspected he was dreaming.
Emperor Ignatz was not dead. He had returned. That alone sounded like something out of a dream.
And the leader of The First Agreement was Emperor Ignatz. That made the whole thing even more absurdly dreamlike.
Was this some kind of joke?
If the leader was Emperor Ignatz, why had he remained hidden all this time and gone to such lengths to deal with the Rebirth Empire?
The Rebirth Empire had grown to its current heights largely because of Emperor Ignatz himself. Under his leadership, the Rebirth Empire had defeated the Supernatural Court, escaped the threat of annihilation, and embarked on a path of rapid development.
And now he was dealing with the Rebirth Empire? Wasn't that the same as denying his own past?
Dmitry could not make sense of it no matter how hard he tried.
Odoayak looked at Dmitry with a sigh. "I know this is hard for you to believe, but... forget it. Even if I explained it to you now, you might not believe me. It would be better to let the emperor explain it to you himself."
Dmitry suddenly snapped back to reality. "The emperor is coming here personally?"
Odoayak explained, "Only a projection."
As soon as he finished speaking, a strange spatial fluctuation appeared behind him.
Crimson energy flowed out of the rift and eventually formed a muscular figure over three meters tall.
Dmitry's body stiffened.
He could not have mistaken him.
The figure looked exactly like the enormous emperor statue that had stood for thousands of years, except that he seemed even more lifelike.
"Dmitry, you have done well. In this dispirited age, you are worthy of the title of the empire's pillar."
A deep voice rang out.
"I..."
Dmitry's lips parted
