A warning from the Eagle Head Demon squad member sounded in the chat channel.
Holding a rock shield in his left hand and a Li Man Axe in his right, the captain roared and decisively leaped to the right.
He rolled across the ground and got back up. The golden flames burning on the battle-axe in his hand flared as he abruptly raised it.
Ahead, a Maintenance Robot was also thrusting its welding torch straight at him.
The Maintenance Robot's attack would have hit the captain's left shoulder before the captain's battle-axe could strike.
But just then, the teammate clinging to the captain's chest activated his binding trait, forcibly immobilizing the Maintenance Robot and leaving it unable to move.
Crack!
The battle-axe swept through, trailing a stream of golden flames. It severed the welding torch in the Maintenance Robot's hand, then the captain immediately raised a foot and kicked the robot flying.
Next, the captain abruptly lifted the shield in his left hand to meet another Maintenance Robot attacking from the opposite side.
The shield slammed into the mechanical arm. Metal broke with a sharp clatter, and the already-damaged arm burst apart, sending parts flying everywhere.
Without pausing, the captain swung his battle-axe at the Maintenance Robot on his right.
The flames traced a dazzling arc through the air. He activated Brute Strength, and before the axe blade even touched the machine, the intense heat had already melted part of its outer shell.
When the battle-axe came down, it split the robot's head in two, black smoke rising from the cut.
