On the ice-covered sea outside New Dunkirk Port, alien warriors packed together like a swarm of ants shouted their battle cries as they marched in orderly ranks. Some pushed crude siege engines of every kind, while others carried enormous dragonboats forward.
The alien warriors carrying the dragonboats were all mighty Titans, towering and powerfully built. They averaged over five meters in height, their knotted muscles as solid as cast bronze and iron. Working in teams of dozens, they bore dragonboats one or two hundred meters long, advancing step by step with resounding cries of "Heave-ho!"
Every dragonboat was predominantly blood-red, with starkly contrasting colors—violet-blue, sickly green, deathly white, and more—forming countless battle patterns and magic runes across their hulls. These dragonboats were made from polar ironwood snow cedars grown deep in the Odin Icefield, trees that rose only a single meter every thousand years. Their timber was unimaginably hard and heavy, in no way inferior to decks forged from alloy.
Only Titans could carry such colossal dragonboats by sheer manpower and march swiftly with them.
The blizzard swept southward, and a thick sheet of ice had already spread across the sea to within less than ten li of New Dunkirk. At the edge of the ice, the Titans hurled the dragonboats into the water. Then hordes of orcs, barbarians, berserk dwarves, Titans, and warriors of other races surged aboard in full armor, driving the dragonboats—whose draft nearly reached the deck—to race toward New Dunkirk.
The voyage was only ten li. These alien-made dragonboats needed merely a quarter of an hour to make a round trip, delivering the next batch of warriors to the beach. More and more dragonboats were thrown into the sea by Titan warriors, while more and more returned continuously from New Dunkirk, carrying newly arrived soldiers southward
