The moment the people of the Church saw that enormous gray-antlered reindeer, this name surfaced in all their minds at once.
The former High Priest of the Odin Temple, the chief disciple of the God of Frost and Cold Prison worshipped by the Odin Temple. Some even said that Asenbirs was the divine offspring of the God of Frost and Cold Prison—that after the god got drunk, his divine soul descended into a stag, coupled with a doe, and left behind this descendant.
Thus, Asenbirs possessed some of a god's traits. He had been born half-man, half-deer, and when he fully returned to his reindeer form, that was when his combat power and divinity were at their strongest. During the Dark Age, in a near-mad religious war, the Church's Guardian Knights had used a sea-of-men tactic to surround and kill two powerful young men with antlers growing from their heads, exterminating them along with an entire Frost Titan tribe.
What followed was Asenbirs's frenzied revenge. The Church suffered its most devastating losses of all its religious wars. When raging winds swept in with blizzards, accompanied by deer cries of "Yoo-yoo," fifteen hundred thousand battle-hardened Church knights and seven Church demigods holding the rear were slaughtered to the last man by Asenbirs alone.
