The social structure of the Giant Abyss was quite interesting. Usually, one most powerful giant family, together with a dozen or so other giant families, formed a small territory. The strongest giant among them was the lord of that place. Countless vassal races lived within their territory and served them: dwarves barely over a meter tall, mountain dwarves around one and a half meters tall, Titans standing three to five meters tall, greater Titans twenty to fifty meters in height, and elemental Titans roughly a hundred meters tall. All these races, mixed with giant bloodlines, survived by relying on the giants. They served the giants and, in return, received the giants' protection.
The moment Lin Qi and the others emerged from the abyssal passage, a giant less than a hundred meters tall—clearly still a child—came charging toward them. He roared furiously, blood gushing from his body. The stone pillar in his hand had already snapped in two; evidently, he had just gone through a terrible battle.
Behind him, two green wyverns let out smug, ferocious laughter as they lazily beat their wings and gave chase at an unhurried pace. With bodies exceeding fifty meters in length, they were two fully grown wyverns that had mastered all their power. Their glossy green scales made it clear that they were venom-type wyverns.
