A colossal skeletal hand, broken and battered, burst fiercely from the mountaintop. Upon this gigantic bony palm, nearly a thousand meters across, stood a dilapidated temple built of enormous black stones, steeped in the aura of endless ages. Lightning struck without cease, crazily blasting the temple as if determined to utterly annihilate some terrifying existence within.

Yet no matter how frenzied the lightning became, the temple remained unmoving, standing firm at the center of the giant skeletal palm.

After an unknowable length of time, a hoarse voice laden with bone-chilling cold slowly rang out. "At last, I've awakened! Truly... I slept for far too long! Far too long. I've even forgotten—what exactly happened?"

As the voice sounded, the clouds filling the sky abruptly scattered, and the violent gray lightning slunk away without a trace. The ghost dragon crouched atop the mountain revealed a fawning smile and obediently lowered its head. Meanwhile, the boundless undead powerhouses at the mountain's foot all bent at once, paying their respects to the temple at the summit.

After a long, long silence, a cool and somewhat pleasant female voice slowly drifted out. "Over these years, I took turns awakening three times.
