Yaoguang Heavenly Maiden cautiously retreated several steps, watching Dark Blood and the others with both reverence and fear. At the same time, she kept shooting glances at Lin Qi, her eyes filled with malice so vicious and feral it was almost grotesque. She made no effort to conceal her gloating delight; she was only short of dancing with garlands in hand and cheering in celebration of Lin Qi being surrounded by these troublesome Netherblood clansmen.
Blood-Soaked Tiger Soul Armor surfaced over Lin Qi's body. With a deep roar, the Army-Slaying Axe shot out in a streak of black light. A black vortex of light several meters wide howled through the waists of two Netherblood clansmen, cutting them cleanly in half. But to Lin Qi's horror, countless threads of blood sprouted from their severed wounds. The threads tugged at one another, piecing the two halves back together, and the wounds swiftly vanished.
"You should know that ordinary physical attacks are of little use against us!" Dark Blood spread his hands, looking at Lin Qi with an eerie expression. "To kill us Netherblood clansmen, you must use certain special methods. But the power of the undead happens not to be among them. So even if you are Bone-Carving Knife Sugra's true body, there is nothing you can do to us."
After a moment of silence, Lin Qi slowly nodded. He smiled at Dark Blood and his group, then countless skeletal monsters flashed out from behind him.
