Lin Qi's eyes widened as he stared in utter shock at the gigantic metal puppet that had descended from the sky.
It had three heads and six arms, its entire body pitch-black, looking no different from a deity of the Many-Armed Secret Devil Clan. It stood around five hundred meters tall, and its six arms were several hundred meters long, yet unlike normal human arms, their ends had all been forged into multifaceted shapes resembling Thunder God's Hammer.
But Lin Qi had clearly seen one of its arms suddenly blossom like a flower just now. The multifaceted structure split apart, revealing a massive palm, and from a pitch-black hole in its center, it sprayed dozens of meteor fireballs as large as water vats.
"Lan Mei, your chance to earn merit and claim a reward is here!" Lin Qi grabbed Lan Mei beside him and hurled him overhead.
"You damned bastard! Your father must be an old bastard too!" Lan Mei trembled with rage. What Lin Qi had done was simply too vile. In any case, he was merely controlled by Hell, and his life and death were not directly in Lin Qi's hands, so he roared furiously, cursing Lin Qi's father, Blackbeard, as he charged miserably into the meteor fire rain in the sky.
"Quite clever." Lin Qi turned and smiled at Lan Ling. "He only cursed my father, so I won't break his legs over this. If he dared say one word about my mother, though, he'd be dead for sure. Don't you think?"
Lan Ling gave Lin Qi a deep look, then turned her head aside. "Lan Mei was never stupid. We were simply... a little unlucky!"
With a hum, a crystalline, transparent shield roughly a palm thick appeared above Lan Mei as he shot into the sky.
