Sogra also shut his mouth. He gripped the carving knife in his hand tightly, watching this group of metal creatures—who held no attraction for him whatsoever—with cold eyes. At the same time, he kept glancing toward Idar, who was coughing blood as he flew backward, wary that Idar might go mad again, burn his life essence, and suddenly fire a shot at him. That would be truly dangerous.

The rigid, razor-sharp laws of metal were saturated with the violent consciousness belonging to Lord Autumn Wind and the others. That frenzied, brutal consciousness, filled with a pure desire for slaughter yet as cold and rigid as all metal—indeed, even carrying an aura of calm—made Lin Qi feel profoundly ill at ease.

"And so their civilization was destroyed!" Hell muttered disdainfully. "Assuming that primitive tribal structure of theirs could even be called a civilization. Still, I like them. With a few minor modifications, wouldn't they make wonderfully exquisite Hell demon warriors?"
