Anger transformed into human form. Swaying his enormous body, Diogo slowly and unwillingly made his way to the enormous metal pillar, standing crookedly atop a magic power node. Fixing the Screeching Lord with his savage eyes, Diogo snarled, "Old bastard, if Lord Diogo gets killed because you set me up, you're dead!"
The several hundred demonic dragons who had followed Diogo here also transformed into human shapes. They opened their mouths in low growls, forcefully flexing their arms and thighs to display their powerful muscles. Several particularly brutish-looking demonic dragons even bared their teeth viciously at the Fallen Gods beside them, wearing expressions as ferocious as fiends.
But the Fallen Gods merely let out low chuckles. No one bothered to answer Diogo's threat.
During the Primordial Divine War, the Fallen Gods had slain far too many high-ranking dragons from the Origin Realm's Dragon Legion. Even Lord God-level dragons had been devoured by the endless insectoid army. The few men Diogo had brought were not even worth a glance from these Fallen Gods.
Yameier gave a cold snort. He waved a hand and glanced at the Screeching Lord. The Screeching Lord nodded, then opened his mouth and spat out thirty-six dark green insect eggs, each as large as a water vat. Opening his mouth again, he laboriously exhaled a thick cloud of smoke before saying in a deep voice, "We insectoids never make our friends waste their strength for nothing. Each of the thirty-six of you who contributes your power may receive one insect egg condensed from my origin blood essence. Eat them, and you can obtain the body of 'Infinite Rebirth.'"
Diogo and the other thirty-five elders of Gods' Revelation immediately lit up with excitement. A body of Infinite Rebirth? Was he joking?
The Screeching Lord took a labored breath.
