The same bizarre thing was happening throughout the Holy Mountain. Wherever Yun's eyes swept, the elves who were crazily self-destructing to attack defensive installations and garrison camps across the Holy Mountain died on the spot for all manner of strange, inexplicable reasons—reasons so absurd they were almost comical.
By the time two trails of bloody tears flowed from the corners of her eyes and the overtaxed Yun wearily closed them, more than half of the rampaging elven powerhouses within the Holy Mountain had been killed. At least a million god-level elves had died beneath Yun's terrifying eye technique. Although the vast majority of those god-level elves had merely been lower divine-servant-level beings, Yun's destructive power was plain for all to see.
Wherever her gaze passed became a place shrouded in death. Such astonishing talent, such terrifying lethality—rare even during the Primordial Divine War. Floating high in the distance, the Dragon Witch King, who was directing the undead in their attacks on the rampaging elves, gave Yun a deep look before murmuring to himself, "The pair of eyes the Origin Realm Core spoke of—the eyes possessed by humanity's oldest and only progenitor, said to be capable of tearing the universe apart?"
Shaking his head, the Dragon Witch King chuckled softly. "But they're only in their initial stage, nowhere near their most powerful complete form. I'm truly curious—if Lin Qi and Yun's descendants can inherit Yun's eyes and Lin Qi's formidable physical gifts, perhaps some freakishly monstrous aberration really will emerge?"
An aberration as monstrous as humanity's sole progenitor: a starry giant whose physical strength could smash all things to pieces, whose gaze could annihilate everything into silence. Now, judging from what the Dragon Witch King knew of Lin Qi and Yun, such a freak might very well appear among their descendants.
