After soaking for a while in the water cell of Ashi Underprison, Lin Qi had nearly fainted from that stinking pool of water. Conditions in the Black Abyss Divine Prison were terrible enough, but at least it was clean. Feces, maggots, dead rats, and worse floated in that water cell. Having soaked in it for even that short while, Lin Qi had felt the urge to throw away his Phantom God Puppet altogether.
But he could not abandon Wan En Longshan's identity for the time being, so Lin Qi could only scrub himself again and again with boiling water at the hotel. It took considerable effort before he finally rid himself of that foul stench.
When he walked out of the bathroom, the brothers Day and Night were seated on the terrace, drinking cup after cup of liquor.
