"What... did it mean to reverse three years of time?"
Shi Lan's heart began to race, beyond her control.
[Reverse the river of time and space, sending the host back three years.]
"What would happen to the me from three years ago? If I returned to the past, would it have any effect?"
[At any point in the current space-time, the host's existence is unique. The current energy is insufficient to maintain the stability of space-time. Traveling through space-time may split off multiple parallel timelines, causing space-time to intersect. The host's current cultivation is too low; the turbulence of space-time would kill you.]
"What is an intersection of space-time?"
[At the host's current level of strength, I cannot explain.]
Once again, her strength wasn't enough...
Shi Lan frowned slightly and asked silently, "Samsara, do you know what an intersection of space-time is?"
"My level has not yet reached the realm of time. I haven't even fully comprehended space. Space-time is far too complex; it is a power beyond the reach of even the supreme beings of the universe."
Samsara was far more shocked than Shi Lan. As far as it knew, within its headquarters, only the legendary "Core" could reverse space-time.
In an ordinary small thousand world, mastering the world's core could allow time to flow backward on a small scale.
But that wasn't reversing space-time. Reversing space-time involved far too many complexities.
Reversing space-time affected the entire universe, every living being across the myriad heavens and worlds.
Such power was simply beyond comprehension.
The more it knew, the greater its fear became.
Samsara felt an ever-deepening reverence for the system that now coexisted with it.
"You don't know either..."
The furrow between Shi Lan's brows slowly eased. She asked no more, smoothing away the agitation that had stirred in
