It was New Year's Eve. I wanted to wish all my readers an early happy New Year. May you all enjoy good health, meet kindred spirits and make good friends in the coming year, vanquish evil and drive away misfortune, and make next year even better than this one.
The recent updates have been pretty terrible, and I'm truly sorry. Too many unexpected things have happened around me.
I first sketched out this story in early 2019 and began publishing it in March. It's almost been four years now.
Four years is a long time. I've gone from graduating college to quitting my job and changing careers, and so many things have happened along the way. My outlook has changed a lot, too.
Here, I want to sincerely thank everyone who has kept reading and subscribing. Without you, this book absolutely wouldn't have made it this far.
For various reasons, updates on this book have been pitifully sparse. I'm very sorry about that, and I want to apologize.
Still, no matter how slowly I update, the story is nearly at its end now. I expect to finish it in February.
I also hope I can give this book a satisfying conclusion.
