Shi Lan said nothing more. She silently headed deeper into the treasury. She had her own principles for how to conduct herself.
When Shi Lan didn't respond, Samsara fell silent as well. The strong claimed treasures; this was a tacit rule throughout the myriad worlds.
Besides, it had spared those people's lives and avoided further bloodshed. It couldn't understand why Shi Lan still clung to so-called benevolence and righteousness.
Samsara naturally didn't understand. What Shi Lan clung to wasn't those two words, but the moral boundaries she held as a person.
Morality couldn't be seen or touched, yet it endowed people with reason and wisdom. It was the greatest difference between humans and other species.
A little while later, just as Shi Lan was about to finish exploring the entire treasury, Samsara finally spoke again. "To your front right. The second row of wooden shelves, third level from the top, in the middle. There's something you want."
Shi Lan's steps paused briefly. She changed direction and, following Samsara's instructions, came to a brocade box about the size of her palm.

Reading the label beneath the box, Shi Lan opened it and took out a blue-green crystal about the size of an egg.
"What's this?"
"The Voidshard Crystal contains spatial energy. I can help you make a storage treasure. Using the Voidshard Crystal to create one won't consume much energy," Samsara explained.
Although it couldn't quite figure out why Shi Lan was a little angry, it didn't want such a trivial matter to drive a wedge between them.
Shi Lan had been longing for a storage treasure for a long time. Samsara bringing it up now was hard to separate from an attempt to curry favor.
Shi Lan didn't hesitate for long. She put the Voidshard Crystal back in
