When the light man exploded, Laxia seized the opportunity. He changed course from flying around the pyramid to swooping down at the light man.
Laxia's dive brought him straight onto the light man's face.
Ordinarily, the light man would have had plenty of ways to deal with this, but an explosion was now going off inside his body. He had no time to stop Laxia's attack.
That allowed Laxia to plunge into the light man's body.
The light man looked enormous, but his body was made entirely of white light. His true form wasn't nearly as huge as it seemed.
As soon as Laxia entered the light man's body, he felt light striking him from every direction.
But he didn't care in the slightest. He was a sun god, and light was as fundamental to him as anything. The light itself couldn't hurt him. What truly wounded him was the light man's control over it, which imbued it with certain properties.
