Haotian frowned, carefully examining Might Duy's severely injured arm.
The wound was deep, exposing bone, and stained with blood, clearly a result of heavy damage sustained in a recent battle.
His brow furrowed even tighter, his tone carrying a hint of seriousness and concern: "Might Duy, why did you have to do this? Don't do such dangerous things again."
Might Duy, however, burst into carefree laughter, his voice hearty and firm: "Haotian, I don't agree with you!" He pointed to his arm and chuckled, "The outcome was good, and that's all that matters! As long as I can protect the people I care about, what's a little injury like this?"
Might Guy knelt beside them, tears glistening in his eyes, looking at his father with deep emotion.
His burly body trembled slightly, his voice choked with sobs: "Father, you're always like this, always willing to pay any price to protect others. I... I don't even know what to say."
Haotian looked at the father and son, a complex mix of emotions surging within him.
He let out a soft sigh, his tone softening: "Your father-son bond is truly moving, but you must pay more attention to your own safety in the future. After all, health is the foundation of everything."
Might Duy grinned, revealing a row of pearly white teeth, as if no pain could crush his fighting spirit: "Haotian, you're a good person. But do you know, youth is meant to be burned like this!"
Might Guy also stood up from the ground, excitedly patting his father's back: "Father, let's race each other doing handstands around the village! It's not just for training, but to ensure our youth has no regrets!"
Haotian watched the father and son's passionate and spirited display. Though a bit embarrassed, he was also infected by their fervor.
He smiled slightly and said softly, "Alright, but be careful."
Just then, Haotian suddenly sensed the surveillance of the Anbu, a hidden aura quietly enveloping them.
His brow twitched, and he inwardly became vigilant.
Might Guy and Might Duy, however, didn't notice anything, still immersed in their own world of passion.
They high-fived each other and, filled with youthful ardor, began their race.
Haotian's gaze lingered on the father and son for a moment, then he gently shook his head, a faint smile playing on his lips.
"Youth... it really is something to look back on..." he murmured, a deep glint flashing in his eyes.
Might Duy and Might Guy, father and son, hugged each other and wept, their cries shaking the heavens, causing the birds in the trees to take flight.
Dai's tears mixed with snot, smearing Guy's face. Guy didn't mind; instead, he hugged his father tighter, crying like a child.
"Guy, my youth! My Guy! You've finally grown up, you can understand your father's youth!" Dai sobbed, speaking intermittently, his voice filled with relief and emotion.
"Father! I... I... I was so ignorant before! To have doubted your youth! I... I... I'm so sorry!" Guy cried, gasping for breath, tears of regret streaming down his face.
After crying for a while, Guy wiped his tears and, sniffling, asked, "Father, how did you know Senior Haotian was so amazing? He looks... he looks... like just an ordinary Anbu ninja!"
Dai stopped crying, his eyes becoming deep, as if lost in memory.
"Guy, do you remember that night three years ago? You had a high fever, and I carried you to find Lady Tsunade, but Lady Tsunade wasn't in the village. I... I... I almost despaired..."
Dai's voice trembled, as if he were reliving that desperate night.
"Just then, Haotian appeared! He... he... he just glanced at you and said you were fine, just a common cold! He also... also... gave me a bottle of medicine, saying he concocted it himself, and told me to give it to you..."
Dai's voice grew more excited, as if he were seeing that miraculous night again.
"I... I... I was very skeptical at the time, but... but... I still gave it to you, and I didn't expect... didn't expect... you to break the fever the next day! And... and... and you became even stronger than before!"
"From then on, I started paying attention to Haotian. I found out he would go to the depths of the Death Forest every night to train, for the entire night! He... he... he always endured everything silently, never complaining, and never showing off! He... he... he is the true embodiment of youth! The true strong one!"
Dai's voice was impassioned, his eyes shining with admiration.
"Guy, you must remember, true strength isn't spoken, it's proven through actions! Haotian is such a strong person! He... he..."
Dai suddenly stopped, his gaze falling on the teacup in Haotian's hand.
It was an ordinary wooden teacup, carved with simple patterns, emitting a faint woody fragrance under the sunlight.
"This cup..." Dai murmured, a hint of confusion in his eyes, "Why does it feel a little different..."
Haotian put down the teacup, his expression becoming serious and earnest, his gaze fixed intently on the Might father and son.
"Youth is not just reckless impulse and blind passion," his voice was low and powerful, each word seeming to carry immense weight. "True youth is having clear goals and making unremitting efforts towards them! It is perseverance that never gives up, even when facing setbacks and difficulties! It is maintaining an optimistic and upward mindset, even when in adversity!"
