It was merely a Banknote commonly used during the Ancient Heavenly Court Era, not some evil entity from the Nine Netherworld. Why had its consciousness appeared in the Demon Tribulation World? What had Skylark done to it?
The Banknote remembered that it had clearly still been in its little abode, happily counting its Spirit Stones—the thing it loved doing most. But suddenly, it felt an itch on its foot. More precisely, its "foot" referred to the bottom of the Banknote.
Then it bent down and glanced at its "foot."
With that one look, it suddenly felt its consciousness grow hazy. Immediately afterward, the face of Skylark from the Mysterious Maiden Sect appeared before it. And Skylark from the Mysterious Maiden Sect even invited it to undergo the tribulation together.
What a joke!
Could the Heavenly Tribulation be undergone together?

As a Banknote that had survived since the Ancient Heavenly Court Era and gained intelligence through a fortuitous coincidence, cultivation had not come easily. It had not lived long enough yet, so it would never accompany Skylark in her madness.
Thus, Lord Banknote rejected Skylark's suggestion with righteous indignation.
"I refuse! I'm not going to undergo the tribulation with you. Give up on that idea. Also, Skylark, what exactly did you do to me? Why is part of my body in your hands?" the Banknote said through gritted teeth.
"No, no, no. I have never done anything to you." Skylark smiled. "You and I are partners. Ours is an equal relationship, and our friendship will last forever. I would never do anything that severed our partnership."
"Then why is part of my body in your hands?" the Banknote asked through clenched teeth.
"You tore
